Synopsis Jessica Jones S01E01 - "AKA Ladies Night"
Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is a former superhero, a lady trying to trying to rebuild her life after a troubled history. Now as a private investigator with special abilities, Jessica Jones has a keen sense of self-loathing, a love for whiskey, sarcasm, late mornings and the local barman Luke Cage (Mike Colter); and now she has a new case to work. Hired to track down a vanished university student by her parents, Jessica's investigation increasingly takes her down a dark track, as a shadowy, complex figure from her past takes her beyond a missing person's case to a disturbing and brutal reality. What does he want?
