Here are the shows we are discussing in 2026

Marvel's Wonder Man - January 28th on Disney +

This 8 episode comedy drama series is something new for Marvel. Following the struggling actor, Simon Williams, as he tries to get his dream job in the live action reboot of his childhood favourite movie "Wonder Man". Helping him along the way is British actor and former terrorist Trevor Slattery. With brilliant central performances from Yahya Abdul Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley we'll be podcasting about this with two episodes per week.

Daredevil Born Again - From 4th March 2026 - Disney +

Following a very successful return of Daredevil in 2025 we only had to wait a year for the second season of the show. With a Wilson Fisk still in place as Mayor of New York and Matt Murdock starting to form his new team around him, we're really looking forward to continuing with the show that kicked off the Defenders on TV Podcast Industries.

The Boys Final Season - 8th April 2026 - Prime Video

The final season of The Boys is set to premiere on Prime Video on April 8, 2026, with its first two episodes. The remaining six episodes will be released weekly with a huge finale on May 20th. It's always great when a show gets to go out on it's own terms and as this is the biggest show that TV Podcast Industries cover we're really excited to see how Eric Kripke and the team wraps it all up.

Invincible Season 4 - From March 18th 2026 - Prime Video

After an explosive third season of the show where Mark faced off against multiversal versions of himself and the strongest Viltrimite yet, Conquest voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, we'll see another huge Walking Dead alumnus, Danai Gurira take on the role of Universa in the new season coming from March 18th 2026.

Star Wars: Maul Shadow Lord - April 8th - Disney Plus

From the animation team that brought us The Clone Wars, Rebels and The Bad Batch comes the return of Maul. Former Sith Lord and leader of Crimson Dawn. We really enjoyed covering The Bad Batch for three seasons when it was released so we're looking forward to squeezing this one in (If we can).

Spider-Man Brand New Day - July 31st - Cinema

Following the excellent MCU movie Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings and the ground breaking comedy drama series Wonder Man, Writer and Director Destin Daniel Cretin will deliver another side of the Marvel Universe with Spider-Man Brand New Day. Loads of rumours about where this will go but with Tom Holland as Spidey and the cinematic debut of Jon Bernthal's Punisher this is gonna be an exciting trip to the cinema.

Spider-Noir - May 27th 2026 - Prime Video

The second Spider project of the year is still a real surprise. A live action take on the character of Spider-Man Noir from the animated feature Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse starring Nicholas Cage reprising the role but this time in live action for an 8 episode TV series. Colour us intregued. The show will be available in both "Authentic Black & White" and "True-Hue Color" versions for your viewing pleasure.

Vision Quest - 2026 - Disney Plus

The third part in a loose trilogy of shows that started with Wanda Vison and was followed up Agatha All Along, Vision Quest will see the return of Paul Bettany surrounded by a huge cast rumoured to include T'Nia Miller (Years and Years, Haunting of Bly Miller), Diane Morgan (Cunk on Earth) and James Spader returning as Ultron this is another Marvel quest we're looking forward to taking.

Star Wars : Ahsoka- 2026 - Disney Plus

Our favourite former Jedi and her team of former rebels will return to live action in 2026 as their fight against Grand Admiral Thrawn continues. We're looking forward to more of a team dynamic this season and of course our favourite droid Chopper destroying the Empire.

The Rings of Power Season 3 - 2026 - Prime Video

Another huge returning show for 2026 is The Lord of The Rings : The Rings of Power Season 3. Prime Video's premium fantasy series will be back with Jamie Campbell Bower (Vecna on Stranger Things) confirmed to have a big role this season.

Lanterns - 2026 - HBO/Sky Atlantic/Now TV

The second live action series in the new DC comics universe Lanterns will focus on the ring wielding Lantern Corp in a live action TV series featuring Kyle Chandler (Early Edition, Friday Night Lights) as Hal Jordan, Aaron Pierre (Krypton, The Morning Show) as John Stewart and Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Superman) returning as Guy Gardner

The Witcher - Final Season 2026 - Netflix

It's been a tumultuous journey for the Witcher. It began as one of Netflix biggest shows based on a hugely popular game series, itself based on a lengthy series of novels and had an animated movie (Nightmare of the Wolf), a live action prequel (Blood Origin) and a cancelled spin-off (The Rats). It also replaced it's main actor Henry Cavill with Liam Hemsworth. Not enough video game inspiration for the game fans and not enough book inspiration for the book fans, the show will finish it's story for those of us who enjoyed it's tale in 2026.

Avengers Doomsday - 17th December 2026 - Cinema

The highly anticipated return of Robert Downey Jnr, Chris Evans, directors the Russo Brothers and writer Stephen McFeely (this time writing with Michael Waldron instead of former writing partner Christopher Markus) for the first Avengers movie in years. This time marvel heroes from across the multiverse will fight side by side against a new threat with a familiar face.

More podcasts will be announced as the year continues!!!
