09:03 --> 09:10 [SPEAKER_05]: I'm really pleased that she's in here again after her being introduced there in episode four.
09:12 --> 09:19 [SPEAKER_05]: From, you know, first off, I think that was really good that she's immediately back in here at the start of Episode Five.
09:20 --> 09:26 [SPEAKER_05]: And really we have, you know, Zelda telling reread about Dormamoo and everything about this.
09:26 --> 09:27 [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it is almost as though.
09:29 --> 09:43 [SPEAKER_05]: really has been in a bubble and hasn't understood and some of the stuff that may have happened in the Doctor Strange movies and certainly the first one with all the molecules all in the mirror dimensions and so no one actually saw it.
09:44 --> 09:55 [SPEAKER_03]: And although Zelda is literally recapping the entire premise of the darker movie, talks about Cassilius, and I do find it all the time that she's there in the MCU.
09:55 --> 09:59 [SPEAKER_03]: These characters are in the MCU, it's on DisneyClos, all alone by the same company.
09:59 --> 10:05 [SPEAKER_03]: And I find that Zelda has just drawn all this stuff by hand, rather than having any form of photographs.

10:07 --> 10:26 [SPEAKER_03]: All of this stuff took place in the Mirror Dimension, so she may not have had photographs, but she is able to draw eight pictures of Cicilius with his purple eyes, which was caused by him siphoning energy from Dora Moose Dimension, so she's effectively making that connection between what's happening with Parker on the hood.

10:29 --> 10:31 [SPEAKER_03]: And Kassil is getting the corruption in his eyes.
10:31 --> 10:31 [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
10:32 --> 10:35 [SPEAKER_03]: And all of the other archives of Doromo get that corruption into them.
10:35 --> 10:41 [SPEAKER_03]: So it's a cool connection to make put interest and that we didn't have any flashbacks or clips from Dr. Strange.
10:43 --> 10:52 [SPEAKER_05]: She says she's been doing research, but it's almost as though rere is being introduced to the magic here.
10:53 --> 11:01 [SPEAKER_05]: And the world of magic in the MCU and her world.
11:01 --> 11:09 [SPEAKER_05]: She does, as Alma does say, it's probably using Parker as a puppet because we were going to be able to wipe Parker and it's like, it doesn't matter.
11:12 --> 11:25 [SPEAKER_05]: Parker is a puppet and easy to manipulate, and his goals of what he wants are in line and easy to corrupt in a sense.
11:25 --> 11:35 [SPEAKER_05]: But I do like here that we have Xelma really picking up a very big thing around the use of magic in Marvel.
11:36 --> 11:52 [SPEAKER_05]: In particular in the comics, it's been less talked about in the Dr. Strange movies and I think really this is the first main and or the first moment of dealing with the fact that magic has a cost.
11:52 --> 11:57 [SPEAKER_05]: So you have Zelma saying, you know, we're dealing with magic now and it comes with a price.
11:57 --> 12:01 [SPEAKER_05]: You can get that sense of magic having a price and through
12:02 --> 12:11 [SPEAKER_05]: Dr. Shane's loss of Christine Palmer in terms of her affection, her love as we saw through what if and so on.
12:12 --> 12:18 [SPEAKER_05]: It's an important point because it comes to play later on in this episode.
12:18 --> 12:25 [SPEAKER_05]: And as they build the magic or orientated iron hot suit at this stage.
12:25 --> 12:33 [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure if this is the first mention of the MCU, but I definitely remember when we were talking about the comics, it was mentioned almost every single issue magic has a price magic as a price.
12:33 --> 12:36 [SPEAKER_03]: It was like this just iterating every time that
12:37 --> 12:45 [SPEAKER_03]: This amount of power that they use to channel the powerful magic that they're using will always cost something in that cost.

12:50 --> 12:52 [SPEAKER_03]: One of the things I also like a little a little reference, I think.

13:04 --> 13:09 [SPEAKER_03]: And what she says, which is Galactus, we're going to see him in the fantastic for next month.

13:10 --> 13:11 [SPEAKER_03]: It's going to ease planets.
13:12 --> 13:12 [SPEAKER_03]: Yummy Earth.
13:14 --> 13:24 [SPEAKER_03]: that's in the flavors of like a billion different forms of meat and fruit and veg, but I guess humans, oh well, maybe not soil and soil.

13:26 --> 13:37 [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, but I mean they're kind of getting to know one another is kind of rudely interrupted here by Parker's team because he has sent them out for her head.
13:38 --> 13:40 [SPEAKER_03]: Got their very willing to just go out and kill the member of their team.
13:41 --> 13:42 [SPEAKER_05]: No, they certainly are.
13:42 --> 13:52 [SPEAKER_05]: I think the other thing that just kind of made me chuckle a little was, and I know that Riri does tell Zelda to go because she can handle it.
13:52 --> 14:03 [SPEAKER_05]: But I thought there's going to be a real good team up here of Zelda using her magic and Riri using her smarts to sort of fight off the blood siblings.
14:03 --> 14:06 [SPEAKER_05]: But then we kind of just get up and leave you.
14:06 --> 14:11 [SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, well, I gave the smarts in that, I guess.
14:11 --> 14:16 [SPEAKER_05]: So I kind of wish that that may have happened, but I get it.
14:16 --> 14:19 [SPEAKER_05]: It just requires more budget, I guess, to do all the magical stuff.
14:20 --> 14:27 [SPEAKER_03]: But I did kind of want to see it though, you're right, just a little bit of a little moment of a magic face and attack fight.
14:28 --> 14:36 [SPEAKER_03]: Thankfully, what they do do here with Ruby and I think we'd mention this earlier on in the season about some little touches of her adopting used very smartly.
14:36 --> 14:39 [SPEAKER_03]: We mentioned this a better find in the key under the masked last episode.
14:40 --> 14:47 [SPEAKER_03]: Here we see her using her smarts to beast to very formidable foes in the blood siblings and they arrive and they're having the fight with her.
14:47 --> 14:54 [SPEAKER_03]: You can see her dodging, you can see her using everything around her to fight against two people who are trying to punch and kick her.
14:55 --> 15:02 [SPEAKER_03]: I thought that was really well done the actual way that she's fighting her style of fighting is using her brains rather than just using.
15:03 --> 15:04 [SPEAKER_03]: She's very small as well.
15:04 --> 15:06 [SPEAKER_03]: She's only five or two, five or three.
15:06 --> 15:09 [SPEAKER_03]: So using all of the things around her.
15:09 --> 15:13 [SPEAKER_03]: Definitely thought those automatic burger flippers that were in in the back.
15:13 --> 15:32 [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I thought she was going to use those because they reminded me of Tony Stark's You know the arms that he has in as a I thought so too lab and I mean she might be small but she was using you know fire extinguishers and other sort of like gas cylinders and and so you know the fight in the kitchen with them was really really cool
15:33 --> 15:38 [SPEAKER_05]: But there were some hits which I were wondering whether they could actually survive, but nonetheless they did.
15:39 --> 15:45 [SPEAKER_05]: And she just managed to deal with them with her protective watch, which is a kind of nice cool moment.
15:46 --> 15:52 [SPEAKER_05]: And I do like how she kind of tricks them into sort of triggering it through
15:54 --> 15:55 [SPEAKER_05]: if I could be going to shoot it.
15:55 --> 15:55 [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

15:57 --> 16:05 [SPEAKER_05]: And there's an interesting exchange between Riri and Ross and Jerry at the blood siblings.

16:06 --> 16:09 [SPEAKER_03]: I kind of like to see where Ross is threatening or saying tomorrow's headlines is going to be rough.
16:10 --> 16:13 [SPEAKER_03]: Girl, genius, Dice, and Riri goes, my death won't even make the news.
16:13 --> 16:15 [SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, oh, that's pretty dark.
16:16 --> 16:18 [SPEAKER_03]: You don't even have the enough respect for yourself.
16:18 --> 16:19 [SPEAKER_03]: The people that local people will
16:20 --> 16:22 [SPEAKER_03]: would be interested in your death effectively.
16:22 --> 16:32 [SPEAKER_03]: So I thought that was going to be interesting exchange between between them, they kind of realize that really is quite damn theirself, despite everybody knows she is for her talents.
16:33 --> 16:37 [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, she gets the blood siblings trapped in that bubble, which was supposed to protect
16:38 --> 16:41 [SPEAKER_03]: Xavier, I think that's the watch that she dropped before, wasn't it?
16:41 --> 16:41 [SPEAKER_03]: Yep, yep.

34:37 --> 34:47 [SPEAKER_03]: Um, and he decides, you know, what if I don't know for this, uh, he decides to stand up directly to her and maybe melt a few more of her flares instead of putting up like the last time.
