Welcome Fannibals…you look stunning clothed, this week, in the sun! The Fine Young Hannibals, John and Irene, are back as we discuss everything from the Tableau (sort of) to the Table (kind of) and, of course, everything in between. In this episode of our podcast we chat more about people and animals knocked out and unconscious rather than murdered as we are transfixed by actors, music, writing and cinematography in the intimate and amazing scene with the sedated Tiger, McClane and Dolarhyde at the zoo. John even goes as far as to state that it’s his favourite scene of season 3 so far! We also give an honourable shout out to the poor coshed out museum curator who is knocked out at the hands of Dolarhyde…but not forgotten. We discuss the developing relationship between Dolarhyde and McClane as things move from the zoo to the bedroom and get seriously (dragon) hot on the sofa and then in the bed! The return of Bedilia to the story-line causes us to ponder why? But we are eventually persuaded by her metamorphosis in to a cold-hearted, ruthless psychopath…we mean psychiatrist. Crush or care…what would you do to an injured, vulnerable bird lying on the sidewalk? Finally, we get giddy about that iconic painting eating scene by Dolarhyde and his near miss with Will Graham, as we chat about the art we’d most like to eat! High art painting or band poster?!

Hannibal Season 3 Episode 10 And The Woman Clothed In The Sun – Synopsis
With eleven days till the next lunar cycle both Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage) and Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) seek the council of Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen). Will seeks to consult on the nature of carvings found and retrieved in the surrounding woodland at each of the murders; whilst Dolarhyde, over the phone, wants share transformation with a man he admires and expresses his wish to meet Hannibal and hallucinates seeing himself in all his glory as the Red Dragon Proud in front of Hannibal. Dolarhyde also develops his relationship with Reba McClane (Rutina Wesley) as he takes her on a sensory tour of the zoo, his house and finally his bedroom! Meanwhile, Will also catches up to Bedilia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) and both discuss their experiences with Hannibal. Du Maurier states that she learned the power in the alchemy of lies and truths from Hannibal and suggests that Graham has also learned from Hannibal and that he too is capable of righteous violence. Finally, Dolarhyde goes to a museum exhibition where the original copy of The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed in Sun is being held. He devours the painting believing it will free him from the beast’s influence. But has the Great Red Dragon walked too far in to the light…for as Dolarhyde goes to leave the gallery an unexpected person arrives also to view the painting putting Dolarhyde’s identity in jeopardy!!
