That man has returned from a sabbatical in space, (Arguably) better than eve. He has a new ally, Kanna, an alien arcanologist expert in magical technology/Technological magic, and he has access to the forge, an interdimensional workshop for tools of sorcery.

Thus equipped, this Strange and Kanna barely had to alter their itinerary to foil a Majesdanean attempt to destroy earth. But awaiting their arrival in the Sanctum Santorum, attired as we saw him on his last adventures with the Avengers is a man the Sorcerer Supreme's Ghost Dog, Bats, has been calling, "Stephen Strange"...
